Privacy Policy

Birth date, birth time and birth place. This is the heart of the product — every chart, reading and compatibility score is computed from it. We treat birth data as sensitive personal data. Birth time is optional; without it the app draws a solar chart and hides the houses rather than guessing.

Email address. To create and sign in to your account, and to contact you about it. We do not send marketing email.

Chat messages you send to the assistant. Your questions, and the birth data needed to answer them, are sent to our AI provider to generate a response. Your conversations are not used to train any model.

Things you tell the assistant that it remembers. The mobile app keeps a short, capped list of personally significant statements from your chats so the assistant has context later. This list stays on your device — it is never uploaded to our servers, and signing out erases it.

Journal entries. Mood and note entries you write, stored against your account so they follow you across devices.

Purchase information. Subscriptions and credit packs are processed by Apple and recorded by RevenueCat, which gives us an anonymous app user ID and your subscription status. We never see your payment card.

Basic diagnostics. Crash and error information, to fix faults.

• We do not collect your location. Birth *place* is a city you type in and is used to compute your chart; the app never asks for location permission.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, calendar, health data or microphone.
• We do not use advertising or third-party tracking SDKs, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.

Reminders — your daily reading, Moon phases, retrograde stations, your Eşref Saati window — are scheduled on your device, and their content is computed locally from your own chart. We do not run a push server and nothing about your notifications reaches us. Turn them off in Settings, or revoke the permission in your phone's settings, at any time.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your birth profile, journal entries, cached charts, forecasts and relationship readings are deleted from our database and your login is removed. Data held only on your device — including the assistant's memory — is erased when you sign out or delete the app.

Backups may persist for up to 30 days before being overwritten in the ordinary course.

You may also email dpo@babyastro.com to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or to object to processing. If you are in the EU or UK you may complain to your data protection authority; in Türkiye, to the KVKK authority.

Legal bases (GDPR). We process birth data and chat content to perform the contract you enter into by using the service. Diagnostics rest on our legitimate interest in a working product. Where consent is the basis — notifications — you may withdraw it at any time without affecting anything else.

• Export your data — returns everything stored about you as JSON.
• Delete your account — deletes your data and your login. This cannot be undone; signing in again with the same email creates a new, empty account.

Baby Astro is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, email privacy@babyastro.com and we will delete it.

Data in transit is encrypted with TLS and data at rest is encrypted by our hosting provider. Access to production data is limited to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — if a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

Our providers may process your data outside your country, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

If we change this policy materially we will update the date above and tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
