Mars sign: how do you approach action?
A Mars sign is a calculated planetary position; giving it meaning about action is astrological interpretation. Read it alongside house, aspects and birth-time uncertainty.
The basic chart is free; without a birth time, house and exact degree may remain uncertain.

Planet: what do you initiate?
Astrological tradition connects Mars with action, drive and assertion. It is not a test of anger or aggression.
Sign: how is it expressed?
A Mars sign is the zodiac segment Mars occupied at birth. Tradition uses it to discuss the style of action.
House and aspects: in what context?
The house adds a life area; aspects add relationships to other placements. The sign alone cannot describe a person.
What is a Mars sign?
Your Mars sign is the thirty-degree tropical-zodiac segment occupied by the planet Mars at your birth. A Sun sign is often inferred from a birthday, but Mars needs its own calculated position. Someone can have a Libra Sun and a Cancer Mars. Neither placement cancels the other: they answer different questions in a chart.
In astrological interpretation, Mars is used to discuss starting things, exerting effort, meeting resistance and asserting boundaries. Those are traditional symbolic meanings. A Mars sign is not a personality test, mental-health assessment or behavioural forecast. Saying everyone with Mars in one sign is angry is neither a careful chart reading nor a sound description of people.

How do sign, house and aspect differ?
'What is my Mars sign?' asks for one position. The sign describes how the action theme is expressed in astrological language. The house locates that theme in a life area. An aspect to another placement, such as the Moon, Venus or Saturn, adds geometry between two symbols. People with the same Mars sign need not receive the same reading when their houses and aspects differ.
A Mars sign on its own cannot tell you how a relationship will work. Comparing two charts may bring up Mars–Venus themes, but reciprocal Moon, Mercury and Saturn connections matter too. An attraction indicator is not a measure of relationship quality or a future event. For a relationship question, two-chart synastry is a better starting point than one person's Mars sign.
What changes when your birth time is unknown?
Mars changes signs much less often than the Moon or Ascendant. On many unknown-time birth dates its sign therefore remains the same throughout the day. But a date when Mars actually changes signs can make time and time zone decisive. A birthday lookup should not claim certainty at that boundary. A reliable hour is also more useful for exact degree and aspect orb.
House placement depends directly on birth time and place. Without an hour, do not read Mars's house as a known fact. Baby Astro's free chart should withhold exact houses and the Ascendant when time is unknown. If your hour is approximate, compare both ends of the possible interval. Discuss a stable sign at sign level, but keep a changing house or borderline aspect uncertain.
How do you find Mars in Baby Astro?
Enter your date, recorded birth time if known, and city in the free birth-chart form. Find the Mars row in the resulting planetary list; its sign and, where available, degree appear there. Then look at houses and aspects to see how that placement relates to the rest of the chart. Calculation runs in this browser; no account or payment card is needed to begin.
Finding Mars does not require buying an interpretation. The basic calculation and first reading are free; Astro-Plus is an optional plan for longer personal readings. Its current price and renewal terms appear before a purchase decision. Once you see your placement, try asking: 'Under what conditions is it easier for me to initiate something?' Do not put a chart sentence in place of your own experience.
